About Us
Des Plaines Girls Softball offers girls Age 5 through High School in the Des Plaines community and neighboring communities, recreational and competitive softball. Practice begins April 1st. The season begins on May 1st and will usually end by July 4th weather permitting.

Mission Statement
"There can be no victory without integrity!" is the guiding philosophy of Des Plaines Girls Softball. We believe that our greatest contribution is in teaching young lady's the values of competition: to make a commitment, to work hard, to strive for excellence, to sacrifice to make the team better, and to be the best you can be as a person and female athlete. Our players learn to respect the game of fastpitch softball and all who are involved in it.

The DPGS ANNUAL PICNIC is June 22, 2013! Come out and join us for some SUMMER FUN at MYSTIC WATERS! Admission is FREE for registered players and coaches! Additional family members are $7 per child (under 12), and $10 per adult. This includes admission and dinner. Season passes will not be honored as this is a private event. Registration begins at 5:30 pm, doors open at 6 pm. Everyone must check in and/or pay at the door. Click here to view/print the picnic flyer.
